I consider this creative energy within me a  God-given gift, and myself a steward of that gift.  That's a humbling thought, but it gives purpose to what could otherwise be just a pleasant pastime. I am having such fun on this journey that I just hope some of the joy translates itself into pigment and smears itself around on the canvas.  And besides that, I don't think I could stop painting if I had to - I might just explode!
