I thnk I'd like to paint a full size version of this one some day. I love the feel of morning light as it glitters on all the surfaces.  As I paint, I sometimes make up stories  and for this one, I imagined that this gal is living her dream of owning a horse and entering a few riding competitions. She gets to the stables at the crack of dawn for some practice, and she's done now, taking her beloved partner for his cool down.  She watches some other riders beyond the fence working on their own skills as she walks him out.   This one is 5x5, oil on panel.
