I thnk I'd like to paint a full size version of this one some day. I love the feel of morning light as it glitters on all the surfaces. As I paint, I sometimes make up stories and for this one, I imagined that this gal is living her dream of owning a horse and entering a few riding competitions. She gets to the stables at the crack of dawn for some practice, and she's done now, taking her beloved partner for his cool down. I just love this little couple, sitting on a park bench in the sunshine, comfortable and just taking a quiet moment to enjoy their reading. And I especially love the lady's little sling back shoes! There is something very beautiful about an older couple, just being together. This one is 5x5. SOLD
