Winter Morning

I saw this beautiful pinkish gold early sunlight hitting the side of a neighbor's house and had to try to capture it. So, I threw on a coat and grabbed the camera and tromped down the driveway to get the photo. Of course, I was still in my fuzzy house shoes and pajamas, which are pink flannel with little coffee cups all over them. Maybe none of the neighbor's noticed, but artists are supposed to be eccentric anyway, right?
Now winter is fading and snow is melting and none of us wants to see snow any more, so this will probably be the last winter painting... It is 5x7. SOLD

March Snow, Monadnock

This stream and its surrounding wetlands feeds into Thorndike Pond.  Mount Monadnock rises in the distance.  We've had quite a lot  of snow this winter, and I had to tromp through a bit of it for this view.
But what a gloriously sunny day!
